Cancellation Policy

In the event your child cannot make it to a program, you are eligible for a refund up to 48 hours before the start or first class of the program.

We will provide a credit of the full registration cost to a future program at Launch Pad up to three business before their first program session. (Please note this only applies to our after-school programming and daytime programming)


Four Week Culinary Class - Spring 2024

May 14 - June 4, 5PM - 7PM 8 spots

Join us for a four week culinary program where you will learn a new skill each week. Chef Kayla will show you a different cooking technique each week.

Week One: Soup & Stock

Learn to make chicken stock out of bones. Stock is the base for all homemade soups and stews. You will use the stock you make to create a delicious Cream of Potato Soup.

Week Two: Pasta and Sauce from Scratch

Turn tomatoes into sauce that would make Nonna proud! Nothing tastes as good as homemade pasta. You will learn to mix the perfect dough that will give you the straight from Italy taste.

Week Three: Homemade Dinner Rolls and Chili

Learn how to safely handle and cook ground beef into a delicious chili while learning how to use different ingredients to suit your taste. Like spice? Can't handle heat? You'll make your chili your way! Complete the meal by learning how to make your own dinner rolls. From kneading to shaping, you can use this recipe to make different dinner breads and wow your friends.

Week Four: Working with Eggs

Separating eggs into whites and yokes is a real skill. Once you master the technique, you will be using your egg whites to bake a from scratch Angle Food Cake


Insight For Life - Spring 2024

Alicia Gibbons is a Mindset and Emotional Intelligence Educator specializing in workshops and programs for youth and teens. She also provides corporate services for adult mindfulness.

Youth in this program have enjoyed the marvelous experience of discovering confidence, empowerment and friendships. Youth gain tools for self-regulation, courage, self-reflection, and emotional intelligence.

There are also snacks, meditation sessions, arts and crafts, group work and a party at the end to celebrate the completion of this great journey.

This program is valued at $750 per participant. Thanks to a generous donation, we are able to run the program at a reduced rate of $100 per participant.
